A sad day for John Arne Riise who has announced his retirement from football.
The Norwegian confirmed the news on his website after s brief spell with Aalesund in his home land.Riise has become a Liverpool icon during a seven years strut at Anfield before returning to the Premier League with Fulham in 2011.
